The act of making
Fount is a German multidisciplinary magazine. For its first mash-up issue I was asked to reinterpret another artist’s work entitled "The act of making". Making means “to bring into existence by combining material”. The act of making is then the process that gives substance to an idea, otherwise the idea would remain just an idea. It means going from the no-dimension of our mind to the three-dimensional space of the world. It means cutting, assembling, playing, combining in order to find an harmony among the components. The act of making is always a work d’ensemble.
