San Marino launched a contest for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, in 2016. The project was inspired by the idea that telling can be much more efficient than counting. As it usually happens in this kind of campaigns, numbers and statistics are used to sensitize public opinion. Instead, this poster series tell common stories about common women, to make people aware of how common and how close violence can be. The project was awarded with the 2nd prize.
